They'll be gone soon
Rajchlová Alžběta
They'll be gone soon, 2024.
120 x 130 cm
acrylic and oil on canvas
Every story can have a sequel - a second chapter, a second part. Can a story that is hidden in a painting continue? Can we find out what happened next? I enjoy the idea that stories transcend the boundaries of the canvas, unfolding somewhere in the elusive, and we can occasionally glimpse into them through brushstrokes. The painting "They'll Be Gone Soon" is the second work to the painting "They're Gliding to the Lake". What happened before, in the meantime, and what happens next, the viewer can guess for himself...
