The painting was created using watercolor and gouache techniques, with a velvety black Japanese paint background that absorbs up to 99% of light.
Framed, signed
A metaphorical painting, a composition of bright symbols on a black background. A moth appears, a symbol of the eternal search for light in darkness. Beneath it crawls a lizard, a creature of the earth, instinctive and capable of regeneration. Finally, "crystals" emerge from the darkness, created from time and pressure as a metaphor for eternity.
