During his summer residency in Berlin, Martin Kiman focused on site-specific installations in public space as well as large-scale drawings. In his painting programme, however, he continues to explore the possibilities of abstraction, and instead of references from the tangible world, he directs his attention to contrasts, rhythms, harmonies or dissonances.
