I want to capture the morphology of reality using a linear, drawing structure. The lines are details of shapes seen on the roads, details of graffiti seen on the streets, or just abstract gestures. But these lines are rather fragments of information. I try to work with the fact that we see a large number of images every day that change at a tremendous speed. On social platforms, these visual contexts are not even related in content, so we don't even connect that into a whole. Our brains, in case it doesn't have enough time to memorize or review the whole image, use what is called scanning. In this case, the brain notes the most important details and adds the rest, like artificial intelligence, from its own visual memory. This leads to a kind of superficial observation. I make these drawings before stretching them on the frame, there are cases when the canvas is folded or several pieces of the canvas overlap, which cuts the motif, there is no clear coverage of it . Through this act I try to refer to boundaries/non-boundaries. To the boundaries of physical spaces and the infinity of the internet environment. In these works I juxtapose lines with abstract color surfaces. J. V.
