Support Elderly People by buying Art
Published 2014-05-16
As soon as Young Real Art started operating in 2013, and first paintings were sold, Jana Lastovka, the founder of YRA, decided to give a certain percentage from every sale to a charity. Jana Lastovka was looking for a charity which would support elderly people and found the Tatiana Kucharova Foundation – Beauty of Help, which does exactly that and much more.
Jana Lastovka’s decision to donate money to the foundation was inspired by her personal experience as for several years she was looking after her nearly one hundred years old grandfather. It made Jana aware of the difficult situation many seniors face when they cannot look after themselves anymore.
The Tatiana Kucharova Foundation - Beauty of Help was founded by a top model and former Miss World Tatiana Kucharova in 2008. It supports regional projects, chosen and evaluated by a team of specialists who are extensively experienced in Health and Social Care. The foundation puts emphasis on the duty to provide seniors with modern social services, tailored to their needs and prevent their exclusion from the society. The focus is on personal assistance, care services, activity programmes and volunteering in care homes. The charity is a member of Association of Public Beneficial Organisations and Czech Donors Forum.
Young Real Art donates 2% from every sale made to the foundation and everyone who purchases art from Young Real Art thus automatically becomes a part of the good cause.
Miss Kucharova, the founder of Beauty of Help says: “I am really excited about Jana Lastovka’s decision to support my charity. At the Beauty of Help, we believe that every person is special and unique and deserves attention, just like the artists who create the beautiful and original works of art. I hope that Young Real Art’s portfolio will grow bigger and bigger. I wish them the best of luck!”
