In this print, I capture the details of trees – branches. I am interested in the structure of bark, moss, and lichens. An "ordinary" branch, temporarily taken out of its natural environment, can be viewed differently, revealing qualities that might otherwise go unnoticed. These works are linocut studies of real branches, which I return to nature once the piece is finished. During the process, I take care of the branches so that the moss does not dry out.
