Two beings are connected by a moment of encounter in the middle of emptiness. Each sits in their own world—closed off, colored by unique experiences. A gesture is born between them, one that needs to promise or explain nothing. It is a movement toward the other, toward something shared that exists only in the moment of contact.
The painting is created using watercolor and gouache techniques, with a velvety black Japanese pigment that absorbs up to 99% of light used in the background. D. B.
