The organic shape of the coral has a very calming, aesthetic effect, which is further enhanced by the golden "foam" that surrounds it. Despite its simple shape, a rich world of textures in subtle, colourful shades unfolds on each coral branch.
A small, intimate ikebana that aims to express a certain mood changes with the falling light into golden droplets. Sometimes it makes them stand out, while others are subdued, letting the shape of the sea coral stand out.

The Mini Tokonoma series consists of six watercolours set deep in the frame, creating an imaginary niche of the tokonoma, an important part of Japanese architecture. Each of the works in this series features gold, which reacts differently each time when the light is reflected, enhancing the depth of each scene in the painting.
