Tato grafika je jednou z mých prací, tematicky zaměřených na stromy. Nevznikaly jako série, ale v průběhu posledních let. I když jsem se zrovna zabývala jiným tématem, vždy jsem se ke stromům vracela. Často zobrazují konkrétní stromy, kolem kterých chodím pravidelně na procházkách po Vysočině, nebo jsem je někde pouze „potkala“ a zaujaly mě. Dají se tedy považovat za stromové portréty, vážou se k nim mé vzpomínky, pocity z okolní krajiny i atmosféry.
